What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work — or work more efficiently — and to provide information to the site owner.

Cookies cannot harm your device. They cannot carry viruses or install malware. They simply store small pieces of information that help the website remember who you are and what you were doing.

How xpnd Torah Uses Cookies

Our site uses cookies only to improve your study experience. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking your activity across other websites.

Here is every cookie we set and exactly what it does:

Your Current Preference

Change Your Preference

You can change your cookie preference at any time. Choosing “Essential Only” will not log you out or break any core functionality — you will still be able to browse Torah texts, read in all three display modes, and use the AI Ask feature. The only difference is that your display-mode choice will reset to the default after each visit.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

  • See which cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete some or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies

Please note that if you block essential cookies, some parts of our site may not function correctly.
